Year 2, Day 60: Wow. I had an AMAZING day yesterday at the annual Chalk It Up event in Sacramento, CA. I volunteered my artistic talents to help raise money for arts programs for children in the city. The event, which takes place in Freemont park, and thus is exactly ONE city block in total area, gets about 10,000 visitors each day. I only had one square to do this year, so I finished after only one day, but it was a VERY fun day. I got to visit with artists that I have not seen in a year, and quite a few friends popped by to lend encouragement and, in one notable case, bring me unsolicited bacon (thanks, Lila!). I have a few pics of the event, but I'm going to get a few nicer ones tomorrow, and I'll post them up soon. In the meantime, here's a little monster drawing that I did. Once I get to drawing, I find that I kind of get on a roll and can't stop...
Tomorrow, for all of us, ADVENTURE!! :)
