Day 64: Tonight I hung out with R and J, and we enjoyed another hour of Aaron Sorkin's wonderful new show. I will say that there are certain characters on the show that do not appeal to some of our audience.
J: That was good, and also I hate Maggie and she should die.
Not a subtle girl, our J.
But she does have a point. Maggie and even Jim are both frequently written as good, honest, hardworking, capable people, until the script needs them to be achingly stupid. I get it! They're bad at interpersonal relationships to an astonishing degree!
Still, I expect that they'll grow out of that in the next season, which I am really looking forward to.
Also, Emily Mortimer has a little crush on me.
